About Station Parking
Station Parking shows what it costs to park at railway stations in England, Scotland and Wales: daily and off-peak prices, weekend rates, season tickets, the number of spaces and how to pay.
Where the data comes from
Train companies record the details of every station they manage, car parks included, in the National Rail Enquiries Knowledgebase. Rail Delivery Group publishes that data on the Rail Data Marketplace under an open licence, and we read it directly. Each station page says which company published its details and when they last updated them.
We don't change prices or guess missing ones. If the operator hasn't listed a price, we say so. When an operator has published new prices with a start date, we switch to them on that date and show the old ones until then.
What to watch out for
- Tariffs change, often once a year, and car park signs and payment apps are always the final word.
- Some stations have council or private car parks nearby that aren't in this data.
- Season tickets are usually bought through the car park operator's website or app, not at the ticket office.
